I recently got the truck that I have always wanted. I got a 2008 Silverado z71 1500 with a 3" lift and 33" mud tires. I have done some off roading in the past, but am new to mudding. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time and I know that the truck I got won't be good for any extreme mudding, but I am looking to have some fun with my new baby. I live in Cayce, SC (outside Columbia) and was wondering if anyone knew of any good spots to go where there would be people willing to show me the ropes and help out. Any advice is welcomed and I would really appreciate it.

Welcome, I am not too far from you in Greenville. I am not into mudding so I can't help you there - glad you found us!

According to all the mudders that I know. Mudding is any where you can find a mud hole to play it...

Welcome!

Mudding sounds like fun... but 4wd would make it easier for me!

may i just recommend staying out of the water... mud is fine. but water crossings are a bad idea (see 02 silverado and four broken rods)
