Sounds pretty darn good. I've been thinking of upgrading toa 44 but I can't really justify the cost for a slight difference in sound. I'll tell you one thing though. These guys running TRUE duals are hurting themselves more than helping themselves. That was an issue of intense debate about this time last year when I arrived and we all came to the conclusion that a loss of backpressure results in a loss of torque on these trucks. Thus the better way for the exhaust to be is with a single in dual out muffler or a single in single out muffler.

 

I've got single in, dual out with a 40 series. I wonder how much tone diff. there would be going to a super 44, or maybe a 50? Probably not all that much.

 

i dont know. i hae the same setup single in dual out behined the wheels. i love the 40. sounds good. but would love to know how the 44 sounds with the same setup. i dont want obnoxiously loud. justloud with a good tone. thats why i love the 40. i guess when it rots out ill try the 44.

i could be mistaken but i thought the 50 was suppose to be quieter than the 40.

 

Yeah the 50 is quieter than the 40. I have single in dual out with a 40 and I love it. I was thing about trying the 44 when mine rots too. well see tho. I might just cut it off and go mufflerless or through on a set of glass packs on. Who knows, thats a ways away yet.

I like the way Magnaflow sounds. They have a strait threw design. The longer they are the quieter they are I got a 24 single in duel out but I haven't put it on yet.
