I just picked-up a 1985 Silverado with a built 350ci 350hp engine. No Rust anywhere but the body has a few little dings and both bumpers are a little askew.
My question is the plastic 2" wide molding down the side is a mess and I was wondering if it is glued or screwed on?

Yeah they are glued on - you will notice the bed corner molding are metal though so don't try to peel them off.

You can make quick work of the adhesive with a pin stripe removal tool. Faster and easier than using acetone. Also safe for your paint. Link to Astro Pneumatics http://www.astrotools.com/default.aspx?toolsnum=533ET& You can find this or something similar at most automotive paint and body stores. I know that here in AZ I bought mine for about 65.
