Default Not starting

My trucks battery has been going dead for a while then finally friday night it plain wouldnt start. So saturday I bought a new battery and everything worked great. got home late on saturday and shut 'er off. Sunday, wont even start. not even trying to turn over just clicking. I was confused but figured i could have left something on or not closed the door all the way. So i hooked up the chargerfor a few hours and still not starting. tryed to jump it, and still no good(volt meter at 16). I am assuming this is the starter and not the alternator because i have not had any electrical problems leading up to this.[:@]

Might be a dumb question but are youre post clean? I'd start by bringing the new battery back and have it checked. But more than likely its youre starter.

Check your engine to frame ground. They were notorious for going out on the early 90's. They usually got on the exhaust and burnt through. And the symptoms were similar to that. I would try adding a extra ground, and if it works then get a real heavy one. I added a 1" or so and it worked great.
