Default O2 sensors

Hey I have recentlybeen hearing a slight knock in my motor when it is running cold but it goes away when It warms up. Its not a rod knock its from the motor running too lean I think, and I also got a SES light the other day andthereader said itwas my O2 sensor in the right bank. So I ended up pulling the two after the cats and neither one would heat up so I'm wondering if I changed them if the knock would go away? Would you think that the cold O2 sensors would couse the motor to have a bad air/fuel mixture cousing the knock??

Thanks a lot Nathan

Yeah change the sensors. Do you have any bolt on modifications or anything on your truck?

Well I have a De screened MAF,TB coolant bypass, and I have duel 40 series exhaust.I'm getting a TBS and a K&N Fipiksoon but it has a pos fram filter now.

It does sound like its running too rich or lean b/c of the fuel knock though. I'm wondering if it will go away with new sensors or if its gonna stay until I get a tune eventualy...

Change the sensors, all of them if you can. The bolt on mods might be amplifying the problem too. Statr with the sensors, clear the code(s) and see if the knocking stops.
