Just a thought... has the truck been oil-sprayed? My truck leaks oil out the bottom of the doors and around the frame because I had it oil-sprayed. Even the dripless stuff will run a little bit.
Not trying to be smartman, just my thoughts. That is the only reason I can see for oil at the bottom of the door.
Good luck.

Maybe a dumb question, but what is oil-sprayed? Never heard of it. May just be something we don't do here.

Oil spraying is basically what it sounds like. Up here in Ontario Canada, they put a lot of salt and sand on the roads to melt the ice and snow during the winter. In the fall, I always take my truck in, and they spray a dripless oil on the underside of the body, frame rails, and inside the doors and inner fenders of the truck. This helps repel the salt and sand, and keep the truck from rusting in those problem areas.

Thanks for the reply. I have never heard of this as the roads only get salted maybe 1 time a year if lucky. I hope it helps. Is it expensive to get done?

Not too expensive... for the high quality driplees stuff it runs about $70 CAD. Or, you can set it up on four jackstands in the driveway, and shoot it with some used engine oil for free! I spend the $70, as it will save me a cab corner or fenderwell down the road. Up here, road salting is a daily thing, and you have to go the extra mile to protect your investment. Even the dealers offer an undercoating option when you buy new.
Anyways, on oil-sprayed truck is a little messy under the body and in the door and body panels, but it's better than rust!
