Default oil pressure

hello all, recently my truck has been running good but after its at operating temperature i would stop at a light or a stop sign and my oil pressure would drop almost to zero and the check guages light comes on. What could be causing this to happen? Also after i drive it even if its a few miles, when i start it, when it cranks it cranks extremly slow like wah..wah...wah...wah then fires up. what could be causing this also and are these problems related? I have no engine lights on and its a 96 k1500 with the 5.0L. Any input would help me out alot thank you.

A little history on your engine...
How frequently is your oil changes?
What filter and oil you using?

I was thinking your oil filter is beginning to clog.

Change the oil with some heavier stuff and see if that helps. If it just started after he did the change I bet he used some crap oil.
