Id think its definitely time for a pump. Anytime they leak is a sign that thay have been on there long enough. Especially if the back plate is leaking. A good pump should only be about forty bucks and there easy to change. You truck should still have the four bolts that hold the fan on instead of the one big nut like the newer trucks have. thanks sc64chevy, so far ive taken my truck on a run to the mall and it seems to be doing fine with the jbweld on it. this is a temp fix and will be going to the auto store tomorrow. i havent gotten this fixed earlier becuse ive been sick and not driving anywhere. now that im feeling a little better, ill be ordering the new pump.
