I am looking to put a lift on my 07 2500HD Classic. I want to keep a pretty smooth ride and am looking for really good quality as well. I want to go with a 6" Suspension Lift. Any thoughts on brands

 

I like Tuff country they have the easy ride suppension that really is easy ridding.

I thought about a leveling kit at first but after I drug my frame while driving around at the ranch, quickly changed my mind to a lift. I was looking into a 6" ProComp with some Hankook DynaPro MT LT285/70R-17. That is what I am looking at after a little research. Hopefully it will still ride good. What do you think?

 

i know two people with pro comp lifts and they both ride pretty good... those tires are going to be WAY too small for that lift though... most people around here run 285s on stock 2500hds

 

yea those tires will look tiny under that much lift. im running that size on my stock Z71.
They are a good tire, just either get a bigger size or no lift.
a 35" would be the minimum for a 6" lift.

a 315/70-17 or something like that might look ok.

 

Yep i am running 285 on my stock 1500 also. So if you go 6 inch you have to get at least 35" tires.
