So on saturday I went into town and got to new u-joints for my truck cause they were starting to clunk. I get home wait for the rain to stop and when it does I go outside and proceed with my project. I got the shaft out and all the old u-joints out and when I went to install the first one I realized that they were just a hair to big. Now my truck sits out in the yard with no shaft in it and I have to return to town and get the proper u-joints. What a **** off.

 

That sucks.

That happened to me, but being bull headed, i decided to try to "make" them fit, 300 dollars later i had a new drive shaft, and the weldingshop put u joints in for me... wonder if they knew how it happened...

 

I payed 25 a piece for the napa one, I phoned one dealership and they wanted 25 for the front and 41 for the rear, I phoned another dealership in a different town and they wanted 25 for the front and 26 for the rear. How can they possibly charge that much more for the same stuff in different towns????(That was all in Canadian prices). Im going to town to hopefully get the proper ones from the dealership if not im gonna loose it on them!!!! Well at least I didn't get to rammy with it and break something.
