Passenger Wiper Stuck

Passenger Wiper Stuck
My passenger wiper seems to be stuck. We've had some ice lately, and I know one time I tried to do the wipers to clean off the windsheild and that wiper was stuck. Once I saw it was stuck I didn't do it again.
Now the wiper seems to be "parked" too low. It looks like it tries to move if I do the wipers, I see it wiggle a little.
I can move it by hand (which I can't do to the driver's side). I can move it all the way up the windshield just as if it was on.
Do you think something just came loose? I've never had to remove a wiper arm, can someone explain how to do it and what to look for?
Its a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500.
Thanks!

RE: Passenger Wiper Stuck
Sounds like the gearing for the wiper arm has been stripped. If you pull off the arm you may be able to get it to "seat" right and it may solve the problem. Sometimes when you get the wipers froze to the window and turn them on it will mess the gearing up. Always pull the wiper blades from the window before turning them on, or le the defrost work its magic.

When I did it, I did have the defroster running for a while, that's why I didn't think it was frozen anymore until I actually tried it.
Thanks for the quick response.

I figured out what it was. Under the hood there's a plastic cap at the end of the wiper arm. I popped that off and just had to tighten the nut underneath it
