So far Florida doesn't require them, you can run headers straight out of the hood if you want! Cops won't like it much tho.

Actually man I have to tell you the difference in an old catalytic converter and a new cat is amazing if you put a smog sniffer up the tail pipe. The difference in burnt and unburntHydrocarbons in unreal. Hydrocarbons= unburnt fuel coming out of the engine. In california it can be the difference in your car being a gross polluter and a clean burning maching for sure.
