Power extend mirrors for a 2008 2500HD?

No mirrors anymore. If I remember right the old power extending ones had many problems and it was costing GM quite a bit to keep replacing them under warranty to the point where they axed them altogether and went with the manual ones. We have an 06 3/4 ton Duramax with the normal mirrors and don't have a problem. I personally prefer simplicity over elegance, and it is easier just to add pulling the mirrors to your pre-trailering routine. I am sure Argon will correct me on my "mirror" history, but that is just my input.

yeah, they are gone..not sure if was issues,or just cost-cutting,but they are no more.
these folding mirrors may suffer similar fate...remember the trunk "pull-downs" of the 80's?..the motor sucks it closed for ya...grocery boys would slam the lid though, and break everything....the same can be said for the folding mirrors...car wash mexicans snap em in manually and break em.

Thanks for the feedback. I have added the steps to my pre-towing routine and just think the Ford mirrors are really nice looking. I did have a bunch of trouble with the power telescoping mirrors on the 2004 and can see why they haven't made them available.

yeah my dad has a 2008 Ford f-250....i know its a ford its a piece.....but actually is pretty nice. The mirrors fold in automatically and they extend automatically, its pretty kool. BUT Chevy's all the way!
