Today i sealed up my Volant box so there is no opening on the fender side and it can now build up pressure inside the box and i swear i felt a difference when driving. I just cut a piece of plastic to the size of the side and screwed it in.But the flex pipe works good if you ask me, becuase i need a 3.5in. pipe that can go around some wires in the engine, metal pipe wouldnt really work unless it had several bends in it to go around the wires and miss the inside of my fender, because this flex pipe pushed the black plastic part of my fender in a tad so my tire just barely misses it when i turn, once i get bigger tires im going to have to trim it.

 

What kind of a difference? If this works well for you I'll be floored cause I always wanted to try it and I never had time to screw with it.

 

Im not to sure about a difference but i did notice a difference in sound like popo said, seems to be kind of hollow. Im not really sure if it was all just in my head the difference i felt or if i really did, but i think i kinda did feel a little difference.
