Hi, I have a '99 2500 Chevy LS. I need to put rear brakes on. I've been told that you can't get the drums off unless you take out the axels out or something like that! Is this true?
What is the best way for me to replace my rear shoes? Thanks! Kevin

 

if its a floating axle setup,yes..which is what heavy duty 3/4's have....
