RE: Remove Factory Steering Wheel - with Air Bag
Success,
I was able to replace the switch my self. Fairly easy..... just need to know how to do it right. I did some resaerch on my own, and took time taking the steering wheel apart. Now that I know how to do it, I'm guessing any experienced mechanic would be able to switch it out in about a half an hour strat to finish....... don't know what the heck the dealership was trying to tell me it would take 3 to 3 and a half hours at $90.00 an hour. $419.37 for the part from dealer. I bought the part my self for $99.95 at a discount parts store. And did it my self..... saved me $700+ dollars. Perhaps I should become a mechanic, I think I'm in the wrong field.... ha......
