Removed Dealership Label
Even though I bought my truck 3 years ago, from that Chev dealer in Sturgoen Falls I still have a bad taste in my mouth from my experience with the dealership.
Every time I look at that sticker on my tailgate I get a little angry.
So today I did a little therapeutic changes to my truck
I removed that Sturgeon Falls dealership name and put my name in its place

I just plain don't like giving the dealer free advertising space on my vehicle. (Unless we establish a suitable rate for rent.) I'm with you, if it has to have a name on it it might as well be mine. For the three vehicles I have purchased new, I purposefully changed the sales contract (It's in the fine print) to say that I did not give them permission to apply a decal and they all took it off. (One Ford, one Subaru and one Chevy.)

Yeah I'd remove that too. But license plate frames are fine by me, only because it's kinda neat to see what dealership that vehicle came from. And if you don't like it, then just take it off. No harm done to the car in any way shape or form.
And now we need an "after" picture :P

The reason behind my dissatisfied truck purchase is when I bought my truck it was in June. Up here in northern Ontario it is illegal to drive on winter street studs tires from May 31 to Oct 01. When I bought the truck it was safetied with the street studs.
I was forced to buy 4 new tires to make the truck street legal so I could drive it home.
It wasn't a good buying experience at Tremble Chev Olds
I will never shop there again and we recommend that all my family and friend to stay away

Wow that's incredible ... you would think the dealership would just include the new tires for you included in your price somewhere, just to make you a happy customer that already has tires for winter in the bed of his truck. That's just no good ....
Shame. I'm working at a Chevy dealership now, and honestly, I would expect our salespeople to go tho incredible lengths to get you a set of tires, even if all they could do is get you a discount.

I didn't quite understand why they weren't trying to work with me in order to keep me as a return customer. But cause they knew I lived in the neighboring town.. they knew I was gonna get my truck serviced in my Chev dealership

so if winter tires with studs are illegal, how did the
dealer sell it with safety
No different then having bald tires, they don't pass safety requirements.
I woulda called DOT or someone to ask if their safety was legal.
I've had it long ago with gm dealers back when I had a blazer and made them replace it was a 8 month long pain but got a new truck.
Have never been back to that dealer either that was in 99
