Default Seat heaters

What is going on with my heated seat(at least they should be)? I turn them on and within a minute they turn off. I hit the switch again and they turn back off with in 5 seconds. I figure they have a thermostat wired in to protect against burning people, but I don't feel any heat at all. I have it on high (all three lines are lit). Now the passenger side is starting to do it also. Of course now it's winter, it would be nice if they worked. Any thoughts of how to fix it or disconnect the t-stat?

Thanks,
Tom

They may have a short in them and the breaker is tripping. Just a thought.

This happens when the elements go bad.
