Seemingly common daytime running lamp out
Anyone know the fix for only one of the daytime running lamps working? The working one is on the drivers side and both bulbs are good. I know this has to be a common issue, soan easy fixwould be great.

Take the bulbs out. They do nothing besides give you a tiney bit of an insurance brake. If you really want to fix it, check your fuses and relays. Then see if you have power to the terminal behind the bulb, make sure to check the wire behind the plug. If there is no power to that wire, then trace the wire back to the source. Most likely there is just a short in the wire or blown fuse. If I had to guess I would say that it is a bad plug or connection in the headlamp plug between the bulb and the wire leading to it.

yeah, i dont like drls. had an 04 cavi and pulled that relay. I run my parking lights in the day anyway..
Alot of those trucks and vans up here only have the drivers side working as well. so i would agree that its big (in numbers) problem. have you checked to see if there is a recall on this since so many people have the same problem?
