Question Service stabilitrack????

I have an LTZ 4x4 silverado with the diablo programer installed. Sometimes when I turn the truck on and it has been sitting for a while the message center will show: "service stabilitrack or stabilitrack OFF" and the 1st to 2nd gear shift will be ROUGH!! after that first shift the message center will clear up and the truck will run perfect for the rest of the day.

Has anyone else had this issue?? I'm not sure if it's the progammers fault or the trucks. When I check the error codes on the programmer nothing
shows up.

Thanks in advance for your help.

This isn't much help but I have never had a problem with mine. I don't know but I would suspect the tuner may have something to do with it. Good luck.

how many miles are on it?????? the stabilitrack issue could just be a maintenance reminder. The harsh shift could be the tuners fault but does it matter if you let the truck warm up any?

The truck has 26k. The harsh shift only happens when the service stabilitrack message shows up on the dash. I try to let it warm
up for at least 2 minutes before I get going.

What maintanence does the stabilitrack require? It doesn't say anything in the manual about maintanence.

Thanks.

And does this happen when you uninstall the programmer?

That was my question too. Try uninstalling the programmer and see what it does.

Well.......it really doesnt need service....its like the old air pumps and emissions systems.....they had a service interval but no servicable parts........just a way for the dealer to get the vehicle in to the shop.
