should a/c be on with defroster
I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado that fogs up the windows really bad. should the a/c light be on when in defrost mode? Someone told me it should but it's not coming on. I can't seem to get the a/c to stay on at all. It will flash a couple of times then go out. Any ideas?

Yeah A/C should come on, but only to dehumidify the air inside the truck, like to keep the windows from getting moisture on them after your whole crew has been tobogganing and is all sweaty
The A/C compressor clutch will cycle quickly in this cold weather. It doesn't take much to get low pressures by the evaporator. So if you're hearing the A/C cycle quickly, that is normal. If you are concerned, have someone put some A/C gauges on it and check it out for you.
