Default Silverado Performance and HP Parts

Hey guys I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab 4.8 liter truck and it is completely stock. I need some help finding some performance and HP boosting parts. All input and ideas are appreciated, Thanks

OK, go trade for the 6l. Sorry, couldn't resist. But I'll be checking back on this thread for performance mods too. I have an '08 5.3l. It was a good upgrade in powewr at the time over an F150 V6. But now I'd like mo' power.

i was thinking a high flow intake system and a computer for some increased horse power, any other ideas?

The free mods, CAI, Headers, Exhaust, Underdrive pulleys, vette servo, shift kit, NOS, Supercharger or Turbo, and of course TUNE! lol

kinda along the same lines as timber74wolf... I would shave the heads, put larger valves, bore the cylinders alot, and then put like quadrouple turbos with 15-20 lbs of boost, then install a six speed tranny and put like 6.17 gears in the rear end. then maybe a tune too.

Hey we forgot 1 important item to instal for an upgrade for HP! A CAM!... Duh on all of us. I am glad I reread all this...lol
