Default Which size and tire is best?

Hey guys I am new to the forums here and just wanted some advice as to which tire andsize would be best for my ride. I have a 2001 Z71 all stock, will be leveling by cranking up the front torsion bars. I am getting some XD Monster wheels in 18x9 size, I wanted to go with the -12 offset. The two tire sizes I was told would fit are 275/65/18 or 285/60/18. Looking at the Nitto terra grapplers and the Goodyear wrangler silent armors. What do you think?

btw I drive 90% on the pavement.

That's really up to you. Either should fit with no problem. And they are close enough in size that they should both ride abut the same. Decide if you want a little taller, or a little wider.

I have 285-60-18s on my truck. The only way they would fit was by installing a front leveling kit. That raises it about 2.5 inches. I have nitto terra grapplers and love them! Good luck.

Goodyear wrangler is poor on wet pavement while Grappler runs well on pavement and off.

You will have to crank the bars all the way up, or have to put a front leveling kit on it. After that they should fit with a little bit of rubbing on the back of the fender and on the lower corner of the bumper and air dam. So now you know what to expect. How much is he selling them to you for? What tires are on them, what offset?

I don't think the 35's will fit even with a leveling kit. I've never seen anybody try, but I'd be surprised if you could cram them in there.
