Squeak

Squeak
Hey guys I have this squeak coming from either the suspension or drivetrain. After I brake and come to a stop and then get back on the gas, I get this loud squeak- not high pitched. Its almostas if the suspension gets loaded one way when braking and when you get on the gas it loads the other way and I get this noise as a result of the transition. Any ideas what it might be?

RE: Squeak
I'm going through the same thing right now. Most likely thats your A-Arm bushings squeaking. Mine are so bad that they wail violently to any undulation in the road. I'm getting ready to stop by the auto parts store and pick up some White Lithium Grease. Several people said it should work. The thing that sucks about this problem is,it could be a $5 fix with grease or a $200 fix with a tech replacing the bushings. I'm not too happy right now...lol

RE: Squeak
My rear springs do it and my shock bushings used to do it. I tried an entire can (small one) of white lithium grease on all the rear bushings and it worked for about a week or two that’s it. If you can take them apart and replace the bushings yourself, then you have a shot. I wouldn't grease new ones cause it will deteriorate the rubber. Go polyurethane.
