Default Stalling

Hello, Lately I have been having a very trying time with my truck. I drive a 2003 Chevy Silverado. Over a few weeks my truck would just stall out on me while i would be driving. Then on Thursday i went out to start my truck for it to warm up before work since it has been very cold lately and it would not start. I even tried jumping the truck with my wife's car although i still could not get it to start. My father in law came over that night and we finally got it started by jumping it and he said that my battery was so dead it needed an exact connection for it to take the charge. So i went and bought a new battery installed it and then the truck started great and still does. Although now it is stalling out on me. I will be driving and just out of nowhere it will shutter like it wants to stall or it will stall. Mostly everyday I will be pulling into the parking lot at work and it will just stall or when i am parking my truck at home it will stall. It starts right back up though. It also shutters when i turn my wheels sometimes. Could you please help me. I have no clue where to look anymore!

Thank you!

my truck use to skip and sputter and the problem was the EGR valve. im not sure if the newer trucks have them but make sure you put the OEM part back on it cause them other ones aint worth a crap. and they are about 20 bucks at the most

when it starts to stall, or shudders, are you getting any battery warnings? You may have an alternator slowly dieing.

No there are no battery warning and the battery was just replaced as well. Nothing is coming over the warning screen and there are no lights showing up on the dash.

My truck idles at about 500/600 rpms. Is that to low and if so what is the fix to the problem? It runs fine when i am on the gas just when i am declerating and sitting idle.
