I like to pass my knowledge on whenever I can and this I know quite a bit about. I did it for 4 years and finally had too much of it. The alpines are great spks and if you go with an aftermarket I would actually steer you towards rockfords power series. Not a huge price difference in them and they scream! I have them all they way around in my truck with a pioneer prs 4 channel amp running them. Its so clean and so loud in there! I love it.

The front door and rear? Also what head unit would you recomened for my truck and I would like to get 2 tens for my back seat and i have seen the boxs on ebay that will hold them. Door panels are very easy. You take out the door lock, trim around the handle and the pice above the panel, you take out one screw and then it lifts up and out, not those damn push pins that break all the time. Rears are basically the same but with 2 screws and they push in. Rears will take 4x6. Headunit wise I would recommend either a Pioneer/Premier or an Alpine. If you get a Premier deck you get a 2 year warrenty. I have a alpine in my car and a pioneer screen in my truck so both are great brands. Don't go with the entry level though. Go up at least 3 decks. Woofers its all about what your after. You looking for loud or a nice clean sound?

You should check out the custom boxes for the ext cab. they make them to go under the back seat. I made my own for one ten then I built a hideaway shelf for the amp and left the other end open for storage. If you have some skills then you should be able to build it your self. if you are interested I can post some pics.

I have always used alpine or clarion. they are both kinda utilitarian but I am more interested in sound rather than the tv screens. Cause i am the only one in my truck anyway. My wife has the tv/dvd stuff for our son in hers.

I like rockfords too you can usually beat the hell out of them and they seem to last. I have a vionik 10 now but that goes back to the ballin on a budget creedo.

Sorry, for some reason I couldn't edit that last one, I built my box to the specs of the dual one on ebay but instead of loading both sides, I downfired one sub and left the other box open for storage.
