Subs
Which is the better way to go? Firing the subs up into the extended cab rear seat or down firing them? I only ask, because I am unsure. My thought was the rear seat would absorb the Bass... Any thoughts?

My 2 10s that I had in my regular cab sounded good even though they are not the greatest. So I was going to build a new box, but was unsure so I figured I would ask. SO I ma going from a regular cab to an extended cab.
So understanding the downfire will provide a good thump, but it still leads me toasking about facing them up... I will have an air space between the seat and the speakers if I fire them up will the music still be muffled enough to take away from the full potential vs downfiring?

Ok its all about how the bass waves are directed. You put a sub in a square room right in the middle, you get some bass. Now put it in the corner facing in and the bass will hit the wall then spread wide across the room. Thats how you get more thump from smaller boxes.
