Default TBI engines

I have a 89 chevy truck 2wd with a tbi 350. Looking to buy a new motor for the truck. i would like to keep it as a tbi engine instead of going to carb. but im looking for a motor with atleast 300hp. jasper has a 383 tbi with 280hp. any one as any other places ideas?

Why not just take out the 350 and build it up a bit? Cam/heads would do some good I think.

Getting 300 hp should be pretty easy. Jegs and Summit both sell what you're looking for in long block or turn key form.

those are carb motors. i bleive the cam has as to be programmerable

The cam needs to be programmable? Variable valve timing? That technology is only available on modern engines.

Do you, perhaps, mean a programmable fuel curve for your injectors on a TBI engine? You can swap your intake manifold and TBI over to a Jegs or Summit carbureted long block no problem.

just tune it and install high flow cats and headers and msd can help you greatly lol 280 now 320
