Installed a Chip in my '88
I added a chip to my '88 Silverado that has a switch on the dash with six settings; so far I like the "Trailer Towing" setting.
Easy to install and had a keyed switch that if you lock it, the fuel pump is shut off inside the computer. Kinda nifty!

I put new rear speakers in my '96 over the weekend. Wow what a job. Took the entire rear interior out of the darn thing just to get at the speakers.
But I managed to not break any of the super brittle plastic panels I have two front speakers on the way ... gonna put those in this weekend. Then maybe a single sub box for under the rear seat and a 10" sub for it. We'll see.

Installed a set of Rockford Fosgate 3 way speakers in my doors the other day. Sounds AMAZING compared to my blown OE speakers. So I'm $50 into the front speakers and $25 into the rear Pyle speakers and man it sounds a million times better. It's not that I'm going for killer sound, I just want it to sound GOOD.
So $70 for my Sony radio, $30 for a dash install kit and harness, $70 for speakers and this truck sounds pretty darn good! Next up is a 10 or 12" sub and amp installed under the rear seat.
