Tell us what you did to your truck today...

Today I got tired of looking at the scratches, wear marks around the driver's door switches and decided to paint the panel.
First to remove the door handle...
Then the two 10mm screws...
Exposing the scratches even better...
Then pulling the panel out back to front...
Then removing the switch assembly by removing 3 torx screws T15 1.5mm...
Then masking sanding to remove all shine and painting...
Wait for paint to dry then 2 coats of clear coat and re-assemble...
But I'm feeling much better now!!!

I have installed a WIS (water injector system) to the Perkins 6-354 (388 ci) turbo straight six, 300 hp in my '69 C20. I'm experimenting with the spray gal per hr. Presently use a 1.62 gph cone but will replace it with a 1.92 gph. Hopefully, the increase will cool down the engine water temp.

Removed the bug/stone guard from the hood on my 2012 Sierra Denali. Tired of the tapping sound and it just never really fit right. Poor design in my opinion.
Trying to decide on a replacement that is better designed by a third party than the one from GM.
I had a weathertech version previously on my Silverado and it was very strong with little flex and really durable.

Unfortunately the GMC one doesnt go under the hood like the Silverado one does . It sits against it and molds around the insert of the grill which is what I think the problem is. My Weathertech one on my Silverado was like yours and didnt do the same things.

Upgrading my suspension
Gonna spend this weekend installing a BAJA KITS chase setup. Boxed uppers with King 2.5's with comp, adj. Then need to get tires mounted on some Method NV's to round it out.
I'll post pics when complete. Anyone know where I can find torque values?
