Tell us what you did to your truck today...

I was trying to get a little more power out of my 04' chev. 8.1. Installed the k&n air intake system, two magnaflow mufflers and dual exhust. I was wondering about how many more horses & torque I might be getting. Thanks...fen1227

Not a lot that you should put a crash cage in and a wheeli bar... But I think your gonna notice the difference in the throttle
We need somebody to take their truck to a Dyno day.
Dyno their truck as Stock.... Then do an Air intake and exhaust upgrade so we can get some true numbers

It's been a busy few days. My dually is down in Florida and I am going to pick it up Wednesday (flying down with the wife and going to spend a few days in Orlando at a couple amusement parks) anyway I needed a truck to pick up some bikes in Atlanta so a friend of mine hooked me up with a cheap 1998 Z-71. I have been wanting a cheap truck to use around the house anyway. So the past few days have included...
replacing shift solenoids in the transmission
replacing shift cable
removing clogged converters
degunking the evaporator so the A/C would blow
Servicing - Front & Rear differential (just preventative maintenance)
Fixing leak between Transmission and Transfer case
Serviced Transfer Case
Found and repaired a strange hissing sound inside the truck (ended up being the gas pedal cable wasn't sealed where is goes through the firewall)
Checking everything I could think of on a new to me/very used truck
Removing and already sold the camper top it came with (helped pay for some of the repairs)
I think it is ready for the 6 hour drive tomorrow
Here is the truck...

got my truck running finally
put a new altanator on it would start so i looked at the coil wire
it was acring out on the coil itself so i put a aprk plug wire on and it runs great now so im not gonna sell it after all im jsut gonna wait and take it to a fab shop and have the frame welded again
also i finally got around to puting the new hood on the other day it looks better.
know to get a new box and front grill cab corners
and my truck would be decent again also to get the gauges fixed
