RE: thinkin about finishing my tail pipes
I too am torn between straight back or angled just behind the wheels. But if i had my druthers, i think i'd go with the angled out to the side behind the wheels, where i tow a boat alot in summer months, i read its better to angle them to the side. Out the back looks cool, but the dealership where i bought my truck told me it would be a bit more, as they'd have to bend the tailpipes to accomadate the spare tire. Hopefully next season, i'll have my cat-back system. I just ordered a set of Illuminated Bumper Guides and the Kleen Wheels Brake Dust shields. Pickin em up tomorrow.......... I had dust shields on my Grand Cherokee, and they worked great, as Brake dust can be a never ending PITA, when trying to keep Alloy rims clean. It was either the tailgate LED light bar or the Illuminated Bumper guides, and i decided to go with the Bumper Guides. They come on with the marker lights, plus blink with the directionals. Ok all, ttyl, Jim

I had them out th back on my 91 and it was alright but i am going to get them out the side next time i just think it looks better and when they were out the back if i was backing up to something i had to be careful that i didnt hit them on something. plus if you have a lift to the side hides the difference without having to do any mods
