Yes its what GM does to prevent drive-train/tranny damage though Im not a GM tech so I cant really explain that one lol...

How much is safe to remove if you don't mash the gas all the time. I'll hit it harder but I don't want to destroy it.

yes. you can remove half and still be safe.

Yeah I should have known that Too many hours at work too many days a week have fried my brain lol! I guess the reduction in performance is my clutch getting worse and worse.

This old thread also has some great info, some directly from the makers of preditors. Good TM and preditor stuff. Damn I've been surfing alot on my off day lol!
