I am putting in a new 350 motor in my 93 and had someone tell me to time it I set the timing at 0 unplug a wire from the distributor but he was not sure witch one. If I could get some help that would be great.
On other chevy's this is the EST (electronic spark timing) wire. I think this usually retards the timing 6 degrees or so. Is the motor running now? If it is you should be able to get close with or without this wire unplugged.
