RE: Tires advice
The one and only thing i have seen with general tires is on a tahoe and one of the tires came apart with alot of life left and caused $2500 worth of damage to the tahoe. And notting was done to the tire to cause this it just happened going down the highway.

RE: Tires advice
the forestry service and game and fish commision in Florida use General tires. I'm guessing they must be good if they're using them on their vehicles. We don't get much snow here but Tire rack has them rated pretty good.

RE: Tires advice
Well, I know gm used Generals on there trucks. I'm sure there a quality brand, I'm just asking about the actual tire compared to wear and performance in dry, wet and snow. I know tire rack rates them high, but I just wanted an Actual person to comment on them.

RE: Tires advice
General tires are pretty good. They are your basic run-of-the-mill tire. I would rather have Generals then Goodyears because they are cheaper and last about the same amount of time or longer than the Goodyears.
