Default tonneau cover

ok i do use my truck for a truck sometimes but i was looking at the extang black max tonneau. i think it will look good on my silver Z-71.

what i want to know is all this hype about better mpg from using one. is it true?
i can only assume that it would work mostly at highway speeds (where i do about 75-85% city driving) any thoughts would be good

I think you would get a little better gas mileage just because you dont have a downward force on your rear end.

I have been looking at this brand you can remove it easy and push it to the front of the bed to haul big stuff.

But when i needed one for my tools i had to get a tool box because at the time i had to do my linex bed liner first and then the cover. So $300 was cheaper then $1100.

Now that my linex is done i might have to see about getting one this summer.

I bought the Access Literider last weekend. Too soon to talk about mpg's, but it looks great! Very easy to roll up and store at the bulkhead. I bought it for $339... so far, love it!
