ToolMan Hard Start Update Question
OK so heres the deal
I took the truck out for a run today and it still starts almost always on second turn of the key (use to be the 1st turn always) It ran better and not so many pops on aceleration sometimes non at all
I was starting to think this is a good thing, I got on the parkway and hit the gas and truck accelerated normally up to 70 no problem running smooth. I then turned around and tried it again I accelerated up tranny would not shift (sounded like) a POP BOGG POP and engine almost stall and I had no power but dash lights never came on but no throttle response at all.
I coasted off roadway and tried to start it after it finally stalled out.
I them attempted to start and would only crank tried it a few times and then she started very low uneven rumble and when I tried to touch the gas she stalled so I started it again and let it run like it was and then feathered the gas and got it to catch a bit Then she finally started to respond the way in which I could drive it again. Could this have been the engine cutout?
At what point does the speed cutout kick in and what does it do and fell like does the truck just go limp?
I got the truck home but she is not starting as good as it was before the ride I should have left well enough alone DANG!
Any Ideas or Thoughts
THanks Tony[/align]
