Considering the Silverado forum is the most posted, most read, and most pretty much everything... why is there a ford and a dodge on the banner?!?

And has anyone ever seen a mod around this place?

 

Apparently not as the bowtie boys are like gang members on here. Try to add some constructive critism on here, and if you drive a nissan or toyota for instance, they try to run you off of here. It really deflates their delicate ego if you can post proof of a better product! And if you post in your section, well their there also. I don't mind it though.

 

1fast4X4: Perhaps its because I don't have an official bowtie on my truck ...I have a Sierra lol ... but it seems like you have an issue with one or two people in particular ....most of the people on this board aren't like that at all. The people you have an issue with have an attitude that belongs on Fullsizechevy.com ...The rest of us bite our tounges when they start running their suqs ...or we PM each other andlaughat them. lol

Damn, i knew there had to be a few good guys around here some where! Glade your happy with your ride also. People who are happy with what they got seem to be themost benifical members for the rest to learn from, those who aren't, find ways tostir the potlol! In reply to the original post here, I've been wondering why the administrator/s here makes no attempt to update or help this site at all. I was offered by some guy to be an admin but I turned it down because I didn't think I'd have the time after I found a job but it seems I've got plenty of time. Wish I still had the offer. There is a bunch of clutter that needs to be cleared off and many threads need to be stickied. Also, a lot of the forum boards could go. No one posts on over half of them. Maybe I can find a way to contact the guy who's supposed to run this gig and see if I can get another chance at helping out.

And 1fast4x4, you have to admit, you didn't exactly come in here friendly like. You came in here flaunting that your truck was faster and better than everyone elses. Now I'm not saying that it isn't but that's not a very friendly, helpful spirit if your actually here to further everyones knowledge and help visitors fix their problems.

 

Charger dude, actually my intention wasn't to flaunt my truck, hell i got alot faster stuff to play with if i'm going out racing! I believe this all started with how can i beat a hemi, and i said get a tundra. Wasn't lying and wasn't flaunting it, just trying to be real and funny. Humor gets lost here quickly and defenses go up instantly. I'm sorry if my bold statements offend some, but we are here to learn right? Sometimes the truth hurts but a few are asking so i'll give my experiences were needed. I know i'll get all kinds of heat as i got the only 5.7L Tundra here, so have fun with me and bench race all you want- all i ask is to back it with vid's. I think this who name calling stuff is crap and i've never seen it to this extent on ANY other forum i belong to!

Some people just like to poke people. Some people will break your finger after a few pokes. Bold statements and braggarts aren't funny. They're a fuss waiting to happen, which means nobody is gonna learn from them.

Also did you ever stop to think that despite all of the countless videos posted on the net of drag races and street races, that some people don't have a video recorder nor can they afford to run out and dump a few hundred on one. Even if I could I'd put it toward my truck. I'd rather impress the guys at my local strip who I can actually race against than spend a ton of money just to show some people on the net something they've already seen in 15 other videos. I also don't own a scanner so I can't scan my time slips onto the computer. I prefer to put a modest amount of faith in everyone's word, and I'll give everyone the benefit of the doubt until it sounds hokey. Even if it does sound hokey, I'm not going to make a scene about it unless it's obvious they are just lieing and trying to impress everybody with something they ain't got.

 

Hey i cant post my time sheets from the strip last night but i ran 8 secs on the 1/4 mile and was kicking every ones but

 

yeah, I was on the track last night on my way to 6.5 seconds when a tire broke loose, the truck spun sideways and flipped five times in mid air! Thank the man for the high impact styrofoam I packed the cab with, it saved my life.

I don't have pictures, but you all believe me... right?!?!
