Default upon furteher inspection of my truck today

i found that it has absolutly no o2 sensors
so know im starting to think that is causeing a problem too
aperently the previous owner too them off and welding exshaust tubeing from the exsausht manifolds back
now if he did it right he would have went into the computer and did a o2 sensor delet kit
but im doubting it was done right
so knwo im gonna take it to my buddies dad have him run a computer scan and see if its throwing the o2 sensor codes which it probably is
also since its memorial day i wont be able to go getparts
so i will be calling junk yards tomorrow and getting price on exsuahst manifolds so i can replace them and put the o2 sensors
eather that or get headers with the o2 sensor holes pre drilled not sure yet what i am gonna do
my dad didnt drive the truck like i asked him to after i explained to him whats goin on he seems to think its a sensor problem but i am still thinkin trans problem i wish that there was a way to plug a computer into the trans and run scans but there wont be

well i checked the tbi gasket its good doesnt leak
i drove the truck 12 miles today and it didnt spit or putter the gas tank is about on empty when i was driving i went to the oreillys today and was gonna do a computer scan but they dont have obd1 scanners
so i am stumped
i was in drive not overdrive while driving
so i am stumped one day it drives fine then the next it runs ruff
any ideas i rechecked all my fluids there still good
also its really hot 89 degrees here maybe the weather has soemthing to do with it also i did have the ac on in my truck
so if anyone has any other ideas of why sometimes it spits and sputters in overdrive and in drive then other days it dont
i checked all my vacum lines no leaks checked the intake gasket no leaks the only thing leaking is power steering fluid and thats a very little leak as teh fluids are good and full in the power steering pump
im starting to think that its not getting enaugh spark
also im thinking my trans shift soleniod is going out slowly

Have you checked ur gas cap? is it vented one or not, pressure may be building up up, i have to leave my cap loose or mine will run ruff once pressure gets to high in tank.
