ok i have a 2000 silverado z71 bout 70,000 miles on it

i have already put a k&n intakein it

i want to do true duals na programer

so i guess my ? is wat should i do first the duals or programer n wat r the best kinds?

 

Well to answer your question about what kinds, here you go.....Ok as for exhaust the best way to go for the trucks i think is if you want power do a straight through designed muffler, they offer the lesser amount of resistance compared to most sport mufflers like flowmaster and what not. but if you want sound, and dont care about the 2 horsepower or so a straight through will give.I would go the original 40 series flowmaster for the fact that it sounds great and is nice and loud. but mufflers mainly up to you, as for sounds and what not...i would go to the websites of the mufflers you are wanting, and listen to some of the clips they have...or go to streetfire.net and check out some of the chevy trucks on there and see if you like anything. As for programmers there are alot of them out there, but my experience, is to use a mail order tune from a trusted source or auto tuner shop, or just use the superchips flash paq, it is a damn nice setup, and has very noticeable gains in power. now as for what to do first, SC_CHEVY_LOVER will tell you what to do first, because he has the mods you want .......i hope the info helped out...later and good luck.

In my opinion I would go with the duals and any other supporting mods before you program. This way your taking full advantage of all your mods. As far as dual's are concerned, listen to what BigTexasChevy has to say. We work together and he has like 138 ASE certifications!! Naw, I'm just pulling your chain, but he does know his ****!
