Not all posi tration axles are gonna fit under your truck.
What exactly are you looking for in a new axle? Power at both rear wheels ALL the time?
BTW @ Wiked You need to start your sentences with a capital.
And the above sentence runs on. You need a comma after the word "there"

OK, What's wrong with your rear end that makes you think you need another an improved and better one?? What the wife says don't count
1st what is your gear ratio?
What do you use your truck for?
What areas do you find that your truck just does not do what you want
My guess would be you have a 350 ci. with most likely 3.42 or 3.75 if you are pulling heavy loads or are running over sized tires, look at changing to 4.10 or higher for increased torque. The Positive traction that you question is not what will provide the torque to move your truck, but will help when you are loosing traction in one of the tires. If you are doing a lot of off-roading look into a locking rear end matched to a gear ratio that will provide the torque, or power you are looking for.
Good luck

@jvp I dont know what gear ratios i have I am wondering what gear ratio would be the best. Right now I have a 350ci in my truck but it does not run. I am looking to put in a new 350 with aftermarket parts on it or a 400. I also have 31 inch tires but I'm going to put 33s on it. Should I use a Dana 60 or Dana 44? When it comes to the axles and stuff I'm not 100% sure what I should use.
