RE: what happens if i port my stock heads?
Ive heard guys pulling a extra 5hp out of porting and polishing so its only worth it if you were in that area of the engine at the time imo. Hows the 4.10s vs the 3.42 in gas mileage and power especially with the posi on starts? I want to switch out my 3.73s for 4.10s but the price is kind of expensive out here to get a job like that done unless I did it myself.

We were talking about this earlier and someone, I think Smoke20(who seems awol), said he had check it out at the dealer and it was like $1,500 after parts and labor and that was on a 2WD I believe. Course he has a 4x4 as well I think so I don't know why he would have gotten an estimate for a 2WD..... maybe it was somebody else but that was definately the price for a 2WD truck gear swap!

I was the one who posted a few weeks back about the $1400 4WD gear swap.
I just tried calling 4 Wheel Parts, but the gal I spoke to didn't know anything and told me to call tomorrow. WTF?!?!?
