Yes 4.10 is the way to go. I am coming to visit you as soon as you say it all turned out good so I can get mine done. Long *** drive though. Maybe SC_CHEVY can sneak my truck on an airforce plane for me.

No planes at my base, just UH-1 Huey's. However, MrLM7 has B-52's where he is stationed, so maybe...

Yep, go with the 4.10's. Like I said, if you keep increasing your horsepwer, the 3000 stall would be amazing. If you are having a hard time finding what mods to get, just give me the money and I'll put them on my truck and let you know how they perform!

I apologize... If you look at the link I sent you, you'll see that it is for my year of truck 2001 and yes it is 15-20 on my truck because that is what it stated. I checked and it is 9-14 for the 2006.

back on topic, what's the deal with the TCI torque converter for these trucks??

Anyone here running one? Which stall?

The "Saturday Night Special", the "Breakaway", or the "Super Street Fighter"??? I think I'm looking at the Breakaway 2200, with my 3.73, but I'm wondering what labor would cost to throw this bad boy in... any ideas?

Wow, you're dragging up some old threads lol.

Don't get a TCI converter...their quality isn't what it used to be. Look at Yank, Precision Industries, or Circle D.

Hey thanks for the heads up, I'll take a look at those others.Going by your sig., you've got one badjazz built ride! Very cool.

yeah, old thread, thought I'd bring it back with this info rather than start a new one of my own.

Thanks for the compliment. There are pics and some video in the picture thread if interested.

P.I. is pretty pricey. Yank is a little cheaper but builds a great converter. Circle D is kind of new on the scene but builds some really nice stuff. I'm running an Art Carr...my builder recommends them and says they've never broke one. And they're running some high hp drag cars and trucks.
