What size tires for 1998 K1500
I've got a 1998 k1500 extended cab that has stock 245/75/16 tires, how big can I go without having any rubbing. I am also go to level the front end with the torsion bar tightening. Also any recomendations on tires? Looking at cooper atr, st, or the kumho at tires, any of these any good? Also how much will the bigger tires affect gas mileage? Thanks for the help!

you can get 285/75/r16... i have cooper st's and i absolutely love them. i had bfg all terrains before that and the coopers do make a little more noise on the road but its still not a lot of noise. they actually are harder to "gum up" off-road than the cooper st/t's too... which doesn't make sense to me, but i know from personal experience

yep, a 285/75-16 (33")would be great looking on that truck.
You shouldnt have to do much or any trimmingbut gas mileage and power might suffer a little bit.
Im bout to put some 285/70-17's on my truck soon.
