I was wondering what size of tire will fit on a 2000 Silverado without a lift? Any comments would be much appreciated

 

probably 285/75/16 would fit no problem

 

Is it 4x4? 31x10.50 will fit with out any lift and if you want to do a little trimming then you will be able to fit 32x11.50. Thats what I have on my truck, they rub just a little bit on the bumper when I am at a 3/4 turn and the truck is leaning like in a turn. I didn't trim anything on my truck, I just turned up my tortion bars a bit just to get them not to rub all the time. But if you rim it then it should not rub at all.

Good luck on what tires you get, also the rubbing is mainly the width and wheel offset. If you get the right offset you may be able to get away with not trimming anything, just talk to a good wheel and tire shop, and talk to the most experianced guy (or girl!! )in there, not just the salesman.
