RE: wheatley
I agree, and i am willing to wait a little longer for my pcm IF its worth it. My situation is Im afraid that the local custom tuner would have been better because he can actually touch and feel my truck as opposed to the mail order. I didnt go locally because his price seemed a little fishy ($175) and I had not heard anything about his work like i have about Wheatley. Wheatley is nationally known as a custom PCM tuner and sponsors some performance forums. I have heard Nelson is good too but more expensive. But I will know soon enough if I made a good choice and I cant say anything good or bad about Wheatley because i dont have my PCM yet. So just ignore me for now.

You're pretty happy with Wheatly Hunt because you were the first from this board to order from him, so you got exceptional service ...didn't it take you 3 days to get yours? I'd be pretty happy with them too. I got mediocre response at first. After he sent the product, I've had zero call backs since. I've given up on him despite the fact that I will be needing a re-tune once I find a cam that can blow good smog and (if I can swing it) 3.73 gears.
I don't know if he does custom tunes, but Vic Hubbard's (www.vichubbard.com) place is about 25-30 minutes from here ....if his place doesn't do it, I'm sure that they can refer me to someone reputible.
