Dakota Transmission fluid/filter change
Hi,
I changed my transmission fluid/filter as part of my 90,000 mile service. I drove the truck up to AutoZone to empty my used oil and noticed that the truck would sort of hesitate to go into gear. I don't know which gear it hesitates in, probably 2nd or 3rd. It has no problem going into 1st. I put Castrol ATF+4 fluid back into it. I used to have a F-150, that I changed the fluid and filter in about every 30,000 miles and never had it do that. Does it take a little time for the gears to get fully lubricated? My Dakota is a 2003 Quad Cab V6. Not sure about the transmission, but it is a 4 speed automatic.
Thanks,
