Default passenger side running lights

I have a 1996 extended cab 1500 and I’m having a strange wiring problem. I readily admit to being a newbie, but I’m trying.

The problem is I have no park lights on the passenger’s side. Everything else is fine, blinker, brakes, etc., but the right front clearance light and the park lights on the back are a no go. If I pull a trailer the trailer lights are fine. It’s just the park lights on the truck. I’m also having to rely on the “common wiring diagram” from my Haynes manual which isn’t helping me all that much.

I know how to use a tester to see if a wire has power, but I’m having a hard time tracing wires. So where do the wires split into left and right, is that under the driver’s side rear of the bed back by the bumper? Any heads up you can give me as to the wire colors I should be checking? Could it be a switch/fuse/breaker?

I know it sounds simple, but I’m having a heck of a time finding the problem and it’s only a matter of time before I get pulled over.
Any help would be appreciated.
