Bigger Engine for 94 F150?

Default Bigger Engine for 94 F150?

ok well i just bought myself a 1994 f150 xlt and was wondering what bigger engine would fit in it. im looking for a little more under the hood and im not sure what will fit.

What do you have in it now the 4.6 or 5.4?? And remember if you go up to a bigger engine chance is you are also going to have to change transmissions

If you go with a 351 (staying in the small block generation) you should be able to keep the tranny you got....but if you are looking to go big block....its a whole diffrent ball game.........computer,tranny,ect but the computer is gonna have to be changed anyway if you change motors
