Default Questions about lifting 07 F-150 4x4????

Hi Everyone

First of all hello, I'm new to this board, 1st post. I'm getting to take delivery of an 07 F-150 4x4 5.4 v8. I'm planning on BFG's 33's (some thing around that height) and an 18" wheel. The wheel I like is the Diamo 17 karat 18". The lift will be the Rancho 4". I have been told that the wheel will not fit without a 6"lift, because of the negative offset of the wheel. I really dont want the tires to stick out like a turtle, mabey a few inches would be okay.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the wheels, tires and lift that would make my new truck look kick a--. Also is it possible to get an f-150level after the installation. I have been told that the front is always going to be a little lower than the rear..

Thanks for any help.

James

Explorer Pro Comp and Rize Industries are probably the best in the business. The worst thing about lifting IFS equipped 4x4 is the the front tires get shoved way out to the sides with most lift kits. As far as I know the Pro Comp kit doesn't use the big CV shaft spacers. They are always able to keep the tire tucked in nicely. Rize is the ultimate in lift kits. High quality and great flexiblity. High cost too. Check out their websites and see what you think.
